This past week, Evergreen Glades Retirement Homes announced a new partnership with Fun-erals Mortuary and will now offer discount packages and seasonal sales for any deceased who pass away while in the institution’s care. In response, hundreds of families across San Diego have been pushing to admit their aging parents and grandparents while they still have a chance to take advantage of the
new program’s benefits.
“I haven’t seen my dad in years, but his nurses tell me he loves his naps, so I’m hoping to get him the ‘Eternal Sleep’ assisted living package,” said local Michael Orphan. “As for my mom, I’ve decided to continue taking care of her at home because I enjoy her company.”
In order to help residents through their transition to Fun-erals Mortuary, Evergreen Glades Retirement Homes will now be offering a suite of modern and state-of-the-art approaches to end-of-life care.
“The Evergreen Glades team is dedicated to making sure those in our care can live comfortably, no matter how long they do it for,” said Peter Senior Jr., Care Manager at Evergreen Glades. “We’re ready, willing and able to provide anything our residents need, except for quality time with their loved ones.”
