Chicago Restaurant Review – Gordon Crunch’s Honest-to-God American Brunch

Written by: Jacob King

The second you walk into Gordon’s Crunch Honest-to-God American Brunch, you are introduced to a version of America as beautiful and fake as Disneyland. For just a few hours, you can pretend that all of our problems are gone and return to an idyllic version of America that never actually existed. Crunch doesn’t care for health regulations or nutritional standards, and the food reflects that. Stand-out options include pancakes, drowned in deliciousness by the infinite syrup fountain on each table, served with a side of bacon-wrapped steak stuffed with bacon.
