Local high school junior Geoffrey Patrick Anderson received a score of 1500 on his SAT last week. According to a news tip emailed to a local station by Anderson’s mother, he studied diligently over the course of several months before earning the score.
“His father and I knew that he would get an excellent score,” Mrs. Anderson wrote in her email this past Thursday. “He has been one of the brightest kids in his class ever since he was little. He has always gotten straight A’s in all of his classes, but his favorite subject is math. He’s very good at math,” she added.
Mrs. Anderson was never contacted for further comment; however, her email, with the subject line “So Proud Of My Boy!!”, detailed a robust history of Anderson’s education and personal life.
According to Mrs. Anderson, any girl at Geoffrey Anderson’s high school would be “very lucky to be his girlfriend,” as he is “very loving and caring” and “knows how to bake good oatmeal cookies.”
“Please make sure you include that in your story,” Mrs. Anderson requested. “And please make sure it is on the very first page of your newspaper. I would like to hang it on my fridge.”
